The MAIN reason people visit us to play adventure golf is the idea of competition and the sweet sweet smell of victory. Yes…. to win! You want to come out top and beat everyone that you have played against AND try and beat the par score as well as the top scorer on our leader board.(It’s a lot of pressure) Even if you aren’t competitive, everybody loves to win- it makes you feel good. Some people believe in the famous ‘luck of the ball’, some people have faith in their super skills and the more practical knows practice makes perfect… but here are some secrets to make sure that when you next visit, you are the one that comes out on top, LET’S GO!
The Club:
The magic of the club. We have loads to offer from purple, orange, red, yellow, blue and black putters which suit all ages from toddlers all the way up. The ideal club for you MUST come up to your hip. This is so that, you can get the right grip, swing and power behind your swing to get those hole in ones. If you take a club that is too big or small, it is game over from hole 1, you will not be able to control that club. Here our mantra is ‘you and the club should become as one’. When being provided with the putter, our top tip for you is to listen to the team member that is advising you, all of our staff members are trained and able to advise the perfect putter for your perfect game!
The Ball:
So, the choice of ball can be very difficult indeed. We’ve got blue, pink, purple, orange, red, yellow, green and so many more to choose from. However, your choice of ball is vital in winning the game. Are you going to choose the bright yellow that stands out boldly on our lush green turfs or are you going to take green to try and blend in hoping that no one knocks your ball back down the starting position. You also have to think about other people in your group, don’t choose the same colour otherwise you’ll get mixed up and might end up putting their ball instead of yours! Our top tip here is to be the first to choose your ball and you won’t be disappointed with the performance. Don’t forget to choose a colour that matches your mood for that extra sentiment.
The Belief:
The main thing that you need is the ultimate belief that you will conquer all 18 holes in one shot and win with an astounding score of 18! If you do not believe, you will not succeed in winning here at dinosaur golf. Don’t let the pressure get to you, take a deep breath and relax! Each time you take a shot, stay focused, determined and don’t let the game get you down. If you have a bad hole, make the next hole count. Every shot counts so make sure that you have your eye on the prize. Our top tip here is to look the dinosaurs in the eye and they will be on your side, believing in you and roaring you on!
