The Big Cat Sanctuary
The Big Cat Sanctuary provides a home for some of the most endangered species on the planet. Originally the vision of Peter Sampson, this project informs and amazes guests all while raising awareness for conservation and the environment.
There’s loads to do including being a Ranger for a Day, big cat encounters, photographic workshops, overnight safari experiences and big cat adoptions. These encounters allow you to experience the majesty of wildlife including lions, pumas, leopards and cheetahs while learning about the incredible lives they lead.
Chimera Climbing Centre
Chimera is a dedicated climbing facility boasting some of the most exciting indoor bouldering in south-east England. With courses designed for adults and children, the whole family can take a drive and enjoy a day out with this heart-pumping activity. Chimera offers their site for private functions and parties too, making it a must for adrenaline junkies, families and corporate groups.
Last but not least is Fenton’s Rink. This curling rink is loads of fun and lets you experience one of the Winter Olympic’s nuttier sports.
